 Alaffia's Authentic African Black Soap is made from a centuries-old recipe of handcrafted shea butter and West African palm oil. 

Black soap is known by its Yoruba name, Osse Dudu. Dudu means "black," which comes from extensive cooking of the soap to the point of charcoal. Many cultures in West Africa use charcoal to detoxify and purity the skin.

Instructions For Use:

Face Cleanser: Gently massage over skin. Rinse clean and pat dry. Follow with Alaffia face cream of your choice.

Body Wash: Apply generously, working into a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly.

Shaving Soap: Apply and lather evenly with wet hands. Shave and rinse. 

For external use only.

    This is the only soap I use. I would highly recommend if you have sensitive skin.
