Allergy Information: TPE cup is safe for those with silicone allergies, it’s been tested as hypoallergenic ‘non-irritant’ by external labs. No harmful plasticizers are included that could cause hormonal changes. Free of BPA, phthalates, latex, heavy metals.

Suggested Use

Precautions: Sterilize the cup before the first use and at the end of each cycle: boil the water first, then dip the cup for 3-4 minutes. Using the cup for the first time. You must remove the cup prior to intercourse and remember that the menstrual cup is not a contraceptive method and it does not protect from sexually transmitted diseases. Menstrual cups are not designed to be used for post-natal bleeding. The menstrual cup is a product of intimate use so you should not share it. Never use Genial Day Cup for more than 12 hours at a time without washing properly. Clean the cup with unscented, mild soap and water. Do not use scented soap, oil-based soap, castile soap, alcohol, antibacterial soap, hand sanitizer, vinegar, tea tree oil, dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, bleach or any other harsh chemicals. To insert into the vagina, use only water-based lubricants. Oil-based lubricants can damage the cup. Never keep the cup in a plastic bag or airtight containers. If you experience any adverse effects, discontinue use and consult with your physician. If you notice that the cup has a tear and is leaking, becomes sticky, or starts to irritate vagina, you must replace it. Dispose of in trash. NOTE: the cup may naturally, slightly discolor over time. This does not impair its functionality. If you feel symptoms of general pain, burning, irritation, or inflammation in the genital area, or discomfort during urination, remove Genial Day Cup and contact a physician.
