White Tiger Decoction (bai hu tang) is a white powder that has been known in Traditional Chinese Medicine for nearly two thousand years, and has long been used to treat symptoms that we now associate with blood sugar regulation. The basic formula includes 4 ingredients: gypsum, anemarrhena root, licorice root, and rice. To these, the ancients occasionally added ginseng, an herb of nearly mythical qualities but traditionally very expensive and difficult to obtain. Nonglutinous rice is credited by the Chinese to help restore the natural acid balance of both the blood and the intestinal tract. However, where the ancients sometimes used ginseng, we now use eleuthero root (often mis-named “siberian ginseng”), which is both easier to grow and less expensive than its fabled asian namesake, and better known for its effects in regulating metabolism and energy levels. Together, these ingredients help the body provide stable, consistent energy for a healthy life!

Suggested Use
Adults and children age 12+ take two (2) capsules twice daily (age 6-11 take one capsule). Results are typically felt in hours or days and increase with continued use. Once desired results are obtained, try 2-4 capsules daily for maintenance.
