Similasan® Dry Eye Relief™ Eye Drops are used for the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye. They also help soothe and moisturize dry eyes and can be used to protect against further irritation.
This product is an OTC drug eye lubricant formulated with glycerin 0.25%, an FDA-recognized active ingredient used to relieve dryness and soothe irritated eyes by helping retain moisture on the eye’s surface.
Our previous formulation was a homeopathic product, which followed a different regulatory framework and ingredient approach.
This updated formula:
- Uses a conventional OTC drug active ingredient (glycerin)
- Provides direct lubrication and moisture support for dry eyes
- Is preservative free and pH-balanced
- Delivers instant moisture for dry eye discomfort

Active Ingredients: Glycerin 0.25%
Inactive Ingredients: Boric acid, calcium chloride, L-carnitine, purified water, sodium borate, sodium chloride, sodium hyaluronate
Suggested Use
- Wash hands before use.
- Remove the tamper-evident ring, then remove the cap.
- Tilt the bottle downward or upside down and gently squeeze.
- Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.
- After use, tilt the bottle downward and shake to remove any remaining drops from the tip.
- Replace the cap after each use.
Precautions: For external use only. According to homeopathic principles, symptoms may temporarily worsen before improving (initial exacerbation of symptoms). Replace the cap tightly after every use. To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the bottle to any surface. To avoid contamination, use within 30 days of opening. Expiration date only refers to an unopened bottle. Contact wearers: Consult a physician before use. If pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy. Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist for more than 72 hours, or if you experience eye pain or changes in vision.
