- For best results, use a 100% cotton pillowcase. Polyester and other synthetic fabrics are made of plastic and reduce conductivity. Use a pillowcase with fabric that's as thin as possible to achieve more significant electron transfer.
- Additionally, the lower the thread count, the better. A 200 to 300 thread count (or less) is best if possible.
- If you buy a new pillowcase for use with your Ground Therapy Pillowcase / Pillow Cover, Ultimate Longevity recommends purchasing a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton pillowcase. Although unnecessary, using a GOTS-certified organic cotton pillowcase will increase the conductivity because regular cotton sheets and pillowcases are typically treated with chemical plastic-like coatings. These coatings take a long time and many wash cycles to remove; in the meantime, they will reduce conductivity.
