These herbs are so named because they are medicine and should be respected as such. God gave herbs to be used as medicine, so it is important to use wisdom in taking them. Each medicinal herb usually targets a specific gland, organ, or body system. They are stronger, which is why it is recommended to use lower dosages for short periods of time.
Suggested Use
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ½ to 1 teaspoonful of herb. Allow steeping for approximately 3-5 minutes or to desired preference. Strain; can add honey and/or lemon to taste.
If brewing Wormwood tea, you can add aromatic herbs and spices such as Peppermint, Spearmint or Cinnamon to alleviate the bitter taste.
