Wormwood is a truly bitter tonic- its botanical name absinthium is translated ‘without sweetness’. The bitter taste however, jump-starts healthy digestive function.

Each medicinal herb usually targets a specific gland, organ, or body system. They are stronger, which is why it is recommended to use lower dosages for short periods of time.
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ¼ to ½ teaspoonful of powder. Allow to steep approximately 3-5 minutes or to desired preference. Strain; can add honey and/or lemon to suit taste.
If brewing Wormwood tea, you can add aromatic herbs and spices such as Peppermint, Spearmint or Cinnamon to alleviate the bitter taste.
