These herbs are so named because they are medicine and should be respected as such. God gave herbs to be used as medicine, so it is important to use wisdom in taking them. Each medicinal herb usually targets a specific gland, organ, or body system. They are stronger, which is why it is recommended to use lower dosages for short periods of time.
Suggested Use
Soak 3 Tbsp of the tea in 2 cups of water overnight. The next morning bring the mixture to a boil and then strain it with a mesh strainer to remove larger pieces, then through cheesecloth if you want to remove the finer powder (it is okay to drink the powder). Larger batches can be made and kept refrigerated for later use. Drink a few sips at a time either hot or cold in 6 to 8 portions throughout the day.
