This is a very nice tea for calming and relaxing the nervous system. It has an amazing ability to relax you, but not make you sleepy or drowsy. The relaxation tea helps people get through the day when life is a bit stressful by lowering the stress hormones and calming down overstimulated adrenals. It can also be used to help you relax at night before bed. This is a Spirit of Health favorite as it’s not only calming, but delicious also!

These herbs are so named because they are medicine and should be respected as such. God gave herbs to be used as medicine, so it is important to use wisdom in taking them. Each medicinal herb usually targets a specific gland, organ, or body system. They are stronger, which is why it is recommended to use lower dosages for short periods of time.
Use 2 tsp per 8 oz glass of tea. Bring water to a boil and add the tea. Boil the tea for 5-7 minutes then steep for an additional 7-10 minutes. Add honey or stevia to sweeten.
